Finally i can see it in the Market!
I’ve just bought it but i noticed that it doesn’t support multitouch.
Is there an eta for it?

  5. Justin D says:

Fruit Ninja was the first app I’ve wanted to pay for on the android market. I was looking forward to playing but was unable to install on my Evo. I attempted 5 or 6 times and always ended up with an installation unsuccessful error. Sadly I had to refund the purchase.

  6. John says:

Would be nice if Open feint would work. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I always get the failed to initialize message. Great game for iPhone and waiting for Android version that doesn’t crash on the Samsung Captivate.

  7. panza says:

why android sucks so much? always install errors!!! My roommates never had such problems with iphone!!!!! cmon

  8. Justin D says:

I solved my install problem. I had to unmount my sd card and then install the program. Once that was done I remounted the sd and moved the file onto it. Great game!

  9. Mario says:

How do we know we were entered into the drawing? I’ve gotten all the achievements, but there was no indication otherwise…

  18. Carlo says:

I purchased it and downloaded on my Nexus One but I cannot install it. It always says Install Unsuccessful.

  19. Chris says:

Recently purchased for nexus one. Very cool and addictive app. Nice work halfbrick, good to see you guys kicking a few goals.

  20. Luca says:

Super fun but buggy. The sound will half cut out at random, so you only hear the background noise. When that happens, the game will force close within a couple minutes and you lose any progress you made since the sound cut out. Also, this causes the volume buttons on the phone to only adjust the media volume – they will no longer adjust the ringer volume.

It’s fun but these problems are annoying. Wondering when they’ll come out with a fix. This is on a Samsung Epic.

  21. Wendell says:

    Great game.

And yes when the sound cuts off it’ll crash shortly after (didn’t stop me from getting all the achievements =P). I remedied it by pausing the game, killing every task I had in the background, and then returning to the game. The sound will come back and will not crash. Although, sometimes it crashes after long gaming periods, a reboot of the phone helps. N1 running 2.2.

Also, I had a question. When will the Samsung Galaxy S drawing take place, I know qualification ended at 9/24, but news has been pretty sparse. I contacted Openfeint with no response.

  22. Aris says:

Great game but as previously stated very unstable. After playing for a while
The sound cuts off then screen sort of flickers then force closes.
    SonyEricsson x10i Android 1.6.

  23. ross says:

As others have said, great game, but extremely buggy on my galaxy s phone. The touchscreen will sometimes stop working in the game and the only way to exit is to hit the home button then turn off the phone. As others have said, it’s the same type of thing when the sounds stops working. Sometimes, the app will just randomly close in the middle of the game. The game also needs an exit/close feature because I never know if the game actually closed or not.

  24. royxxx says:

Great game! But on my xt702, seems this game brings up mediaserver and does not properly release it after closed causing mediaserver running in the background and consuming a lot of battery.

  25. royxxx says:

Sorry, forgot to mention that my phone is running with 2.1 update 1 and the game is version 1.3.3.

  26. dirmans says:

the barcode doesnt work, how to get/buy this app?

  27. teng says:

i scanned the barcode using the neoreader on my VIVAZ phone and it said error 404..i want this app badly!!! Please help me

  28. Eric says:

I can’t see it in the market.. I am also unable to see some games in the market.. I scan QR codes, and get 0 results for that app. -Philippines (Asia)

  29. JNai says:

When is Android getting Arcade mode? Love this game, I play it on both my iPod and both my Android phones! :)

  30. Beem says:

Can’t wait for the arcade mode to come out. Please release it quick!!

  31. Gavriel says:

When is the arcade mode will be released??

    Plz release is quick!!! T.T

  32. The Brain says:

    [BUGREPORT]
    Hi,

as someone pointed out earlier there is a bug in the app that causes the mediaserver to constantly run even after Fruit Ninja has been exited. Its a major battery drain because it prevents the phone to go into sleep mode. Only restarting the phone fixes this, killing the mediaserver properly to end this does not work.

    Please fix this soon.

  33. wwowz says:

Please update for high end android users. I can’t believe my old ipod touch 2nd gen is running fruit ninja way better than my samsung galaxy s 2.1.

We need an update!!!!!!! Bought the first day i got my android, but never played due to unstable issues and lag..

  34. savia says:

i wanna when fruit ninja for android update to 1.5

  35. SebaS86 says:

We are waiting for more! Maybe Monster Dash for Android? ;)

Also Facebook Connect could be a very nice feature in next update – why only iPhone/iPod users can spam friends? ;)

  36. Souldevour says:

Still no Arcade mode for Android. Come on guys. I payed for this, I expect updates.

  37. SebaS86 says:

No arcade, no multitouch, no off-line scores (but this is OpenFeint f***k up). iPhone/iPod versions are just better – yes a bought game second time specialy for my iPod.

  38. F.Lix says:

cmon update for android!!! we need the arcade mode, and also the graphics are significantly crapper than the iphone version…. >< but maybe to accomodate older android phones as well?

  39. Ha ha! says:

“Rest assured that this version will include frequent updates alongside the iPhone additions, including the secret banana mode!”

    You guys are funny.

  40. Gavriel says:

  41. Anoneemooz says:

    Hey guys!

I’ve been really enjoying Fruit Ninja Android almost non stop since I bought it right on its day of release..but I’m severely disappointed that since its release, it barely had any updates at all while we constantly see you guys pumping out updates and new games for the iOS. This is in spite of your announcement that it will be much like the iOS version and receive constant updates. We’re still waiting on arcade mode, multi-touch, etc, and an HD version like what you’ve done for the iOS.

The Android community is growing and improving at an accelerated pace now a days and lots of high end Android mobiles can definitely compete with and even beat current iOS devices so I don’t see why it would be wrong or difficult for you guys to bring the same improvements at a reasonable rate as well. People with lower end ncan complain all they want but that doesn’t mean you should cap your development upto only a bare minimal because of these lower end device.

I’m not in any way pressuring you for an unstable early release if your update really is that difficult to crank out but it really seems as though you’ve just abandoned the Android platform to push out more for the iOS…We would love at least to have an ETA on some big updates to put to rest these people who have been extremely dissatisfied waiting on “constant updates like the iOS” that just seems to be a lie now.

Hope you respond soon. Still patiently waiting, and still loyally supporting you guys.

  42. wwowz says:

Thanks a bunch for an update!!!! it woks FINE !!!

tho I have some sound issues XD

  43. Giulio says:

Thanks for the update, it’s great to have the Arcade mod.

Unluckly I saw that the graphic is worse than the previous update. I observed it on an HTC Desire and on a Samsung Galaxy S, both with Froyo 2.2.

Waiting for a second update or a bugfix, have a nice work..you’re doing it great! :)

  44. kk says:

this is jank! i cant get it on my android either. it keeps saying i have to get it from over sees??? what the heck??? i dnt have an itouch or an i pad or an iphone, but now tht its on android i cant get tht either… check your flaws guys. please??

  55. Nathalie says:

When will there be an update for the android version!? Fruit ninja is the only game that is really good but whats the point if android users always are left out of the new updates. I phone users get all the new updates and blades but android users wait a year to get arcade mode its not fair. PLEASE GIVE ANDROID THE NEW UPDATES WITHIN THIS MONTH (June)! PLEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  56. kobe says:

  58. Thanks for your advice on this blog. 1 thing I wish to say is purchasing electronic devices items over the Internet is certainly not new. The truth is, in the past few years alone, the marketplace for online gadgets has grown significantly. Today, you will find practically virtually any electronic system and product on the Internet, including cameras in addition to camcorders to computer parts and gaming consoles.Droidsnstuff.com

Guys, I simply ADORE Fruit Ninja!! Whenever I want to relax, I play this game. I used to have an LG Optimus One on which Fruit Ninja rocked, but now I’m using an Lg Optimus Black, on which Fruit Ninja works fairly good, but still too slow for my taste. Please, I’m begging you, do something.. It’s really frustrating.. I’m not relaxing any more..

Hi , i am a Galaxy S2 user . I am really happy to see this app on android market since this was IOS , but i still don;t understand why android does not have update for the pomergrante …. in the apps description it says “Rest assured that this version will include frequent updates alongside the iPhone additions” i know here they were talking about version 1.3 or something like that but … frequent updates is not what android users get srsly …. I really hope that u won’t update the game when you will include on IOS a better version.
Cheers and all the best !!

  88. Today I earned my custom essay types! I have no words how skillful it is written. Now I’m sure that I can get perfect mark and all because my essayist communicated with me all the time. I advise to all this excellent online writing because of its purity and faithfulness.

  89. Robin says:

Update the game to same version as iphone. And the THD version you could give even more detailed textures, because as it is now it ain’t that much difference (more than the price) fom the original.. I mean, the tegra2 chip is kind of powerful, and all tegra devices is atleast 2.2 so you can code in the NDK, so there is no reson why it shouldn’t atleast be as detailed as the iPhone/iPad, right? I understad why the original must be uglier and work on older androidversions but..

Anyway, I hope you read this and fixes some of these things because I really love your game. I just want to love it even more.

  96. rola says:

    nice game

  97. Robin says:

The ad-version is more updated then the ones that cost money, why is that? Just because you are greedy and want people to play the one with ads.

  98. Robin says:

For example both AD-versions have ghosting trails while the payed versions doesn’t. You need to update both versions to the same as iphone, SOON. I’ve payed for this game, then I expect to be given the same updates as the ad-version atleast.

  99. Kuba says:

since you guys have sold those apps to people , you have to be fair! It’s not fair that apple users take the advantage with the daily updates and we android users have to wait for an update for a year! if you are not going to do anything just refund the money!
