Blast Off into a universe of gravity slingshots, lost astronauts and bizarre planet systems. Use your rocket ship to rescue astronauts and carry them through the warpgate to safety. But be careful! The ever-present force of gravity can be your best friend AND deadliest foe. The emphasis of Halfbrick Blast Off is predicting the effects of gravity and using very minor corrections as you go.

Gameplay is simple yet incredibly addictive. Every planet and object in the Blast Off universe has a gravity field which will affect the path of the rocket ship as it flies through each mission. The player controls the launch of the ship from planet Earth and must then complete the specific mission objective.

Each mission contains a number of astronauts who have been lost in space, and a warp gate which will transport the rocket ship and end the mission. The player must pick up each astronaut with the ship and then safely fly to the warp gate. Not every astronaut must be collected to activate the warp gate, but the more astronauts collected the higher rank the player will receive for the mission.

Halfbrick Blast Off is the first game to be released under the Halfbrick Fridays series, and is available on the Xbox Live Community Games tab for 400 Microsoft Points.
